These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client", "Renter", "you") and VIP COMPANY SHPK, registered under NIPT (NUIS): L92322006H, with registered address at Rruga Qemal Stafa, Tirana, Albania (hereinafter referred to as "VipRental", "the Company", "we", "us", "our"), governing the rental of vehicles through the website viprental.al and all related services.

By making a reservation, submitting a booking request, or renting a vehicle from VipRental, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.


1. Eligibility and Driver Requirements

1.1. The minimum age to rent a vehicle from VipRental varies depending on the specific vehicle. Each vehicle listing on our website displays the applicable minimum driver age requirement. It is the Client's responsibility to verify that they meet the age requirement for the selected vehicle before making a reservation.

1.2. The Client must hold a valid driving license recognized in the Republic of Albania for the duration of the rental period. International driving permits may be required for drivers holding licenses issued outside the European Union.

1.3. The Client must provide a valid first and last name, a valid email address, and a valid phone number at the time of booking. Reservations made with false, incomplete, or misleading personal information may be cancelled at the Company's sole discretion without refund.

1.4. Additional drivers must be declared at the time of booking and are subject to the applicable additional driver fee. Undeclared drivers are not authorized to operate the vehicle and any damage or incident occurring while the vehicle is operated by an undeclared driver will be the sole responsibility of the primary Renter.


2. Reservations and Booking

2.1. A booking request submitted through our website constitutes a request for reservation, not a confirmed booking. The reservation is confirmed only after the Company has approved the booking and the Client has received a confirmation with status "Approved" or "Paid".

2.2. The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where the Client does not meet the eligibility requirements, provides inaccurate information, or where the vehicle becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.

2.3. Rental pricing is calculated based on the number of days, selected insurance, additional services (baby seats, additional drivers, chauffeur service), pickup/return locations, and cross-border travel destinations as displayed at the time of booking. The "Generated Price" reflects the system-calculated total, while the "Our Price" may reflect any negotiated or promotional adjustments.


3. Payment Terms

3.1. VipRental accepts the following payment methods for its own fleet: cash payment at pickup, online payment via PayPal, and bank transfer. The available payment methods may vary depending on the pickup location. For bookings with a pickup location outside Albania, cash payment is not available.

3.2. When paying by bank transfer, the Client must include the booking ID as the payment reference. The booking will be confirmed upon receipt of the full payment amount.

3.3. No security deposit is required for vehicles in VipRental's own fleet.


4. Cancellation Policy

4.1. Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled pickup date and time are free of charge. Any payments already made will be refunded in full.

4.2. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup date and time are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full rental amount. Payments already made are non-refundable in this case.

4.3. In cases where the Company's rental policies or eligibility requirements are not met by the Client, the Company reserves the right to cancel the reservation. If the Client has already paid online via PayPal or card, the Company will issue a refund; however, the Company does not guarantee the exact refunded sum due to PayPal processing fees, currency conversion fees, or card transaction fees that may be deducted by the payment provider.

4.4. Failure to collect the vehicle at the agreed pickup time and location without prior notice will be treated as a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable.


5. Vehicle Pickup and Return

5.1. The pickup and return of the vehicle shall take place at the location agreed upon between the Company and the Client at the time of booking. Any changes to the pickup or return location, including last-minute adjustments to a nearby area, must be agreed upon by both parties.

5.2. At the time of pickup, the Client must inspect the vehicle and acknowledge its condition. Any existing damage will be documented. The Client is responsible for reporting any discrepancies before departing with the vehicle.

5.3. The vehicle must be returned at the agreed date, time, and location. A grace period of up to 90 minutes is allowed beyond the agreed return time at no additional charge. After the 90-minute grace period, an additional full rental day will be charged.

5.4. Fuel Policy: Vehicles are provided with a certain level of fuel and must be returned with the same fuel level ("same-to-same" policy). If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than at the time of pickup, the Client will be charged for the missing fuel plus a refueling service fee.

5.5. Windshield Washer Fluid: The windshield washer fluid reservoir is generally filled by the Company prior to rental. However, if the fluid level runs low during the rental period, it is the Client's responsibility to refill it to ensure proper operation of the windshield wipers.

5.6. AdBlue (Diesel Vehicles): Certain diesel vehicles require AdBlue (Diesel Exhaust Fluid). If the AdBlue indicator activates during the rental period, it is the Client's responsibility to refill the AdBlue tank to ensure proper operation of the vehicle.


6. Rental Extensions

6.1. The return date and time are agreed upon at the time of booking. If the Client wishes to extend the rental period, they must contact the Company as early as possible to request an extension.

6.2. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability. If the vehicle is available for the requested extension period, a new extension price will be calculated and must be agreed upon by the Client before the extension is confirmed.

6.3. If the vehicle is not available for extension (e.g., due to a subsequent reservation), the Client is required to return the vehicle at the originally agreed return date, time, and location. Alternatively, the Company may offer a replacement vehicle of a similar category chosen by the Client, subject to availability. Any transportation or delivery fees for the replacement vehicle will be agreed upon and paid by the Client.

6.4. Returning the vehicle late without prior arrangement or approval constitutes a breach of these Terms and will result in additional charges as outlined in Section 5.3.


7. Insurance Coverage

7.1. VipRental offers an optional Full Casco Insurance that may be selected at the time of booking for an additional daily fee. The Full Casco Insurance covers:

  • Accidental Damage: Collisions with other vehicles, fixed or moving objects, overturning, and leaving the road.
  • Natural Disasters: Damage caused by hail, storm, flood, snow, lightning, and falling trees or objects.
  • Theft and Vandalism: Total theft of the vehicle, partial theft (stolen parts), and malicious acts such as breaking windows or locks.
  • Fire and Explosion: Damage caused by fire, lightning, or explosions, including technical faults while the vehicle is parked.
  • Parking Damages: Damage caused by unknown third parties while the vehicle is parked.

7.2. The Full Casco Insurance does NOT cover the following:

  • Tire damage of any kind, including punctures, blowouts, and sidewall damage.
  • Rim damage of any kind.
  • Damage to the underside (undercarriage) of the vehicle.
  • Interior damage, including but not limited to burns, stains, tears, or damage caused by smoking or other activities inside the vehicle.
  • Damage occurring while the driver is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other illegal or controlled substance.
  • Damage occurring during unauthorized activities (see Section 8).
  • Damage occurring outside the territory of the Republic of Albania.

7.3. Insurance validity is limited to the territory of Albania. For cross-border travel, the Client must arrange separate insurance coverage for the destination country. VipRental does not offer or provide cross-border insurance coverage.

7.4. Accident and Damage Reporting Obligation: In the event of any accident, collision, theft, vandalism, or any damage to the vehicle — including scratches to the paintwork — the Client must notify VipRental immediately by email, phone, or WhatsApp. This notification is required in order to initiate the appropriate legal and insurance procedures. Failure to report damage promptly will void any insurance coverage, and the Client will be held fully responsible for the cost of all repairs upon return of the vehicle.

7.5. If the Client chooses not to purchase Full Casco Insurance, the Client assumes full financial responsibility for any and all damage to the vehicle during the rental period, regardless of fault.


8. Prohibited Use and Client Obligations

8.1. Smoking: Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vaping devices) is strictly prohibited inside all rental vehicles. Violation of this policy will result in a cleaning fee.

8.2. Reckless Driving: The use of any rental vehicle for racing, burnouts, donuts, drifting, or any form of reckless or competitive driving is strictly prohibited.

8.3. Excessive Speeding: Driving at speeds exceeding 80% above the posted speed limit is strictly prohibited. The Company reserves the right to immediately reclaim the vehicle in such cases, and no refund will be issued for any remaining rental period.

8.4. Alcohol and Substances: The driver must not operate the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal or controlled substance. Any accident or damage occurring under the influence of such substances will void all insurance coverage, and the Client will be held fully liable for all damages, penalties, and legal consequences.

8.5. Vehicle Overloading: It is strictly prohibited to carry more passengers than the number of seats designated for the vehicle. Overloading the vehicle is dangerous, illegal, and will void insurance coverage.

8.6. Improper Use: Passenger vehicles (cars, SUVs, sedans) are strictly prohibited from being used for the transportation of large, heavy, or oversized items — i.e., using a passenger car "as a truck". For cargo or large-item transportation, VipRental offers vans specifically designed for that purpose. Even cargo vans must not be loaded beyond their stated maximum capacity.

8.7. Unauthorized Cross-Border Travel: The driver is not permitted to cross international borders with the rental vehicle unless specifically authorized by VipRental for the declared destination(s). Unauthorized cross-border travel constitutes a serious breach of these Terms.


9. Fines, Violations, and Legal Responsibility

9.1. The Client is fully responsible for all traffic violations, parking fines, toll charges, and any other penalties or fines incurred during the rental period. This includes, but is not limited to, fines for illegal parking, blocking roads, obstructing entrances to other properties, speeding tickets, red-light violations, and any other infringements of Albanian traffic law or the traffic law of any country visited during the rental.

9.2. Any fines or penalties that are registered to or received by VipRental after the rental period has ended, but which relate to violations committed during the Client's rental period, will be forwarded to the Client. The Client agrees to pay such fines promptly and in full.

9.3. The Company bears no responsibility for consequences arising from the Client's improper parking, including but not limited to towing, clamping, or damage caused by third parties due to the vehicle's improper positioning.


10. Tire and Rim Damage

10.1. The Company is not responsible for any damage to tires or rims that occurs during the rental period, regardless of the cause. Tire and rim damage is not covered by the Full Casco Insurance.

10.2. The Client is responsible for returning any damaged tire or rim to its original condition, or for reimbursing the Company for the cost of replacement or repair.

10.3. The Company is not responsible for any delays, missed flights, missed appointments, or any other consequential losses that result from tire or rim damage during the rental period. It is the driver's responsibility to drive carefully and to inspect the vehicle's condition regularly.


11. Vehicle Defects and Roadside Support

11.1. If the rental vehicle develops a mechanical defect or malfunction during the rental period that is not caused by the Client's actions or negligence, the Company is responsible for providing support to the Client. This support includes:

  • Remote guidance to help the Client resolve minor issues quickly.
  • If the issue cannot be resolved quickly or the vehicle is deemed unfit for safe operation, the Company will arrange a replacement vehicle of a similar category within a reasonable timeframe, taking into account the distance between VipRental's base (Tirana International Airport area) and the Client's current location.

11.2. No refunds will be issued for mechanical defects or vehicle replacements. The Company will make every reasonable effort to minimize inconvenience to the Client.

11.3. The Client must not attempt major repairs, modifications, or unauthorized servicing on the vehicle. Any costs incurred by unauthorized repairs are the Client's responsibility and will not be reimbursed.


12. Personal Belongings

12.1. The Company is not responsible for any personal belongings, valuables, electronics, documents, or any other items left in the vehicle during or after the rental period.

12.2. The Client must ensure that all personal items are removed from the vehicle at the time of return. VipRental assumes no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.


13. Mileage

13.1. All vehicles in VipRental's own fleet are offered with unlimited kilometers per day. There are no mileage restrictions or excess mileage charges for vehicles rented directly from VipRental.


14. Cross-Border Travel

14.1. Cross-border travel is permitted only to destinations explicitly selected and authorized at the time of booking. Each cross-border destination is subject to a one-time fee as displayed during the booking process.

14.2. The Full Casco Insurance provided by VipRental is valid only within the territory of the Republic of Albania. For travel outside Albania, the Client is responsible for arranging and paying for appropriate insurance coverage in the destination country. VipRental does not provide or arrange cross-border insurance.

14.3. Traveling to any country not declared and authorized at the time of booking is strictly prohibited and constitutes a breach of these Terms.


15. Limitation of Liability

15.1. VipRental's total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total rental amount paid by the Client for the applicable booking.

15.2. VipRental shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, missed flights, missed appointments, travel delays, or any other losses arising from or related to the rental, regardless of whether the Company was advised of the possibility of such damages.

15.3. VipRental shall not be liable for any damages, losses, delays, or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, acts of government, war, civil unrest, strikes, pandemics, road closures, or any other force majeure event.


16. Data Protection and Privacy

16.1. By using our services, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

16.2. Personal information collected during the booking process (name, email, phone number, document images) is used solely for the purposes of managing reservations, communicating with the Client, and fulfilling our legal and contractual obligations.


17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

17.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Albania.

17.2. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tirana, Albania.

17.3. The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through direct communication before initiating legal proceedings.


18. Amendments

18.1. VipRental reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on the website. It is the Client's responsibility to review the Terms before each booking.

18.2. Continued use of VipRental's services after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


19. Severability

19.1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

By completing a booking on our vehicles (owned by VIP COMPANY SHPK) on viprental.al, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These Partner Vehicle Terms and Conditions ("Partner Terms") apply specifically to vehicles listed on viprental.al that are owned and operated by independent third-party rental companies ("Partners"). These Partner Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client", "Renter", "you") and VIP COMPANY SHPK, registered under NIPT (NUIS): L92322006H, with registered address at Rruga Qemal Stafa, Tirana, Albania (hereinafter referred to as "VipRental", "the Platform", "we", "us", "our").

By making a reservation for a Partner vehicle through viprental.al, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Partner Terms in their entirety.


1. Role of VipRental — Platform Only

1.1. When you book a vehicle marked as a Partner vehicle on viprental.al, VipRental acts solely as an online marketplace and intermediary platform that connects Clients with independent third-party car rental companies (Partners). VipRental is not the owner, operator, or direct provider of Partner vehicles.

1.2. The rental contract for a Partner vehicle is between you (the Client) and the Partner company directly. VipRental is not a party to this rental contract and assumes no responsibility for its performance, execution, or outcome.

1.3. VipRental does not inspect, maintain, service, insure, or control Partner vehicles. The condition, roadworthiness, cleanliness, insurance coverage, and legal compliance of Partner vehicles are the sole responsibility of the Partner company.

1.4. Partner vehicles are listed as a specific make and model on viprental.al; however, the listing is displayed as the selected model "or similar". The Partner may provide a vehicle of the same category with similar specifications. VipRental does not guarantee that the Client will receive the exact vehicle shown in the listing images.


2. Confirmation Fee

2.1. When booking a Partner vehicle, a Confirmation Fee is collected by VipRental via PayPal at the time of booking. This fee is a platform service charge for processing and securing the reservation with the Partner.

2.2. The Confirmation Fee amount is displayed clearly on the booking page before payment and represents a percentage of the total rental price.

2.3. The remaining rental amount (total rental price minus the Confirmation Fee) is paid by the Client directly to the Partner company at the time of vehicle pickup. The payment method, currency, and terms for this remaining payment are determined by the Partner.

2.4. VipRental does not collect, hold, or process the remaining rental payment. Any disputes regarding the remaining payment are between the Client and the Partner.


3. Cancellation and Refund Policy — Partner Bookings

3.1. If a Partner booking is cancelled by the Client or by VipRental for any reason, VipRental will initiate a refund of the Confirmation Fee via PayPal.

3.2. Due to PayPal processing fees, currency conversion fees, and transaction charges, VipRental does not guarantee that the refunded amount will equal the exact Confirmation Fee originally paid. The Client acknowledges and accepts that the refunded sum may be slightly less than the original payment due to fees deducted by the payment processor.

3.3. VipRental is not responsible for refunding the remaining rental amount paid directly to the Partner. Any refund of payments made directly to the Partner is subject to the Partner's own cancellation policy.


4. Limitation of Liability — Partner Vehicles

4.1. VipRental's liability for Partner vehicle bookings is strictly limited to the Confirmation Fee collected by VipRental. Under no circumstances shall VipRental's total liability exceed the amount of the Confirmation Fee paid for the applicable booking.

4.2. VipRental shall not be liable for any of the following in relation to Partner vehicle rentals:

  • The condition, safety, roadworthiness, cleanliness, or mechanical reliability of the Partner's vehicle.
  • Any accidents, breakdowns, mechanical failures, tire damage, or vehicle defects.
  • Any personal injury, property damage, or loss of life arising from the use of the Partner's vehicle.
  • Any insurance coverage, deductibles, excess charges, or claims related to the Partner's vehicle.
  • The Partner's compliance with Albanian law, traffic regulations, vehicle inspection requirements, or insurance obligations.
  • Any disputes between the Client and the Partner regarding pricing, payment, deposits, fuel policy, mileage limits, late return charges, or any other rental condition.
  • The Partner's failure to provide the reserved vehicle, providing a different vehicle, or cancelling the reservation.
  • Any personal belongings lost, stolen, or damaged while in the Partner's vehicle or on the Partner's premises.
  • Any delays, missed flights, missed appointments, or consequential losses arising from the Partner's vehicle or service.
  • The accuracy of vehicle descriptions, photographs, specifications, or pricing displayed on viprental.al as provided by the Partner.

4.3. The Client acknowledges that all risks associated with renting a Partner vehicle — including but not limited to vehicle condition, insurance coverage, deposit requirements, fuel policies, mileage restrictions, late return fees, and cross-border travel policies — are governed exclusively by the Partner's own terms and conditions. The Client is advised to review the Partner's rental agreement carefully before accepting the vehicle.


5. Client Obligations — Partner Bookings

5.1. The Client must provide accurate personal information (full name, email, phone number) at the time of booking.

5.2. The Client must hold a valid driving license and meet any age or eligibility requirements set by the Partner company.

5.3. The Client is responsible for inspecting the Partner's vehicle at pickup and documenting its condition before departing. Any pre-existing damage should be noted and communicated to the Partner.

5.4. The Client must comply with all applicable traffic laws, rental conditions set by the Partner, and the general rules of responsible vehicle use.

5.5. Any issues, complaints, damages, or disputes related to the Partner vehicle must be raised directly with the Partner company. VipRental may assist in facilitating communication but is under no obligation to mediate or resolve disputes between the Client and the Partner.


6. Partner Contact Information

6.1. Once a Partner booking is approved or confirmed, the Client will receive the Partner's contact details (business name, phone number, and/or email) on the booking information page. The Client may contact the Partner directly for any questions regarding the rental.

6.2. VipRental facilitates the initial connection between Client and Partner but does not supervise, control, or guarantee the Partner's responsiveness, availability, or quality of service.


7. Insurance — Partner Vehicles

7.1. Insurance coverage for Partner vehicles is provided and managed exclusively by the Partner company, not by VipRental.

7.2. Any insurance options displayed during the booking process for Partner vehicles (such as Full Casco Insurance) are offered and underwritten by the Partner. VipRental does not provide, administer, or guarantee any insurance coverage for Partner vehicles.

7.3. The Client is responsible for understanding the scope, limitations, deductibles, and exclusions of any insurance provided by the Partner. VipRental strongly recommends that the Client review the Partner's insurance terms before accepting the vehicle.


8. Deposits — Partner Vehicles

8.1. Partner companies may require a security deposit at the time of vehicle pickup. The deposit amount, method of collection, and conditions for its return are determined solely by the Partner.

8.2. VipRental does not collect, hold, or manage any deposits for Partner vehicles. Any disputes regarding deposit retention or refund are between the Client and the Partner.


9. Indemnification

9.1. The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VipRental, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • The Client's use of a Partner vehicle.
  • Any breach of these Partner Terms by the Client.
  • Any dispute between the Client and the Partner.
  • Any third-party claims arising from the Client's operation of a Partner vehicle.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1. These Partner Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Albania.

10.2. Any dispute between the Client and VipRental arising out of or in connection with these Partner Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tirana, Albania.

10.3. Disputes between the Client and the Partner are not within VipRental's jurisdiction and must be resolved directly between those parties.


11. Amendments

11.1. VipRental reserves the right to modify these Partner Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on the website.


12. Severability

12.1. If any provision of these Partner Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
